This piece of code was made in reaction to the first lockdown in the UK when covid initially hit us. I created an illustrated typeface in order to put some positivity back into the world. It aimed to highlight the more positive aspects of the pandemic such as clapping for the NHS, learning new skills and environmental benefits to name a few. The code produces the illustrated type in random locations based on keyboard input, I found that people could offload their frustrations via typing but still produce a positive visual.
