This publication documents a small portion of the photography that I produced over the weekend of these protests. It has been narrowed down here to best depict what my personal experience of the protests were outside of the chaos being portrayed in the media at the time. The aim is to let people voice their concerns about energy waste by writing/drawing messages on the front of wasteful buildings, to get them to take notice of their actions. The phrase ‘don’t be anxious’ is an example of how as a society we tend to pass off mental health concerns. Building on this I wanted to see how I could represent anxiety in a physical space. The visual is a simple line drawing that will either get calmer or more intense based on the distance that one user sits from the other, the sound will react in the same way. When making the seats I wanted them to be fragile and slightly uncomfortable to heighten the anxiety of the user when entering the space. Only works on desktop devices and no capitals Format: code &amp; digital publication Created: 2020 Genre: Interactive code Link:&nbsp;https://editor.p5js.org/TCullen/full/2axC82nWl This piece of code was made in reaction to the first lockdown in the UK when covid initially hit us. I created an illustrated typeface in order to put some positivity back into the world. It aimed to highlight the more positive aspects of the pandemic such as clapping for the NHS, learning new skills and environmental benefits to name a few. This interaction shows a visual representation of minority exclusion online by using trigger words to create the illusion of censorship. When discussing your identity the key words race, sexuality and gender will cause you to be ‘blocked’ or&nbsp; made ‘invisible’. The reaction itself is still in its early stages and simply causes a black square to appear over the participants face whilst an error noise plays. Based on early computer graphics this visual language has translated into the rest of the interaction shown in the style of equipment used.
